No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimate
You have the right under the No Surprises Act to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of services. This will be written up for you by Clearwater Counseling if you intend to see a clinician out-of-network or are paying for services out-of-pocket. This will be provided to you prior to your first session. Keep a copy of your most recent Good Faith Estimate. As services continue, this may be updated by you and your clinician as you work on your treatment. If your total billing exceeds your most recent Good Faith Estimate by more than $400, additional charges beyond the estimate can be disputed.
